News Release: Postal Service to Resume Santa Letter Program… Actually requires some corrections:
1. ANCHORAGE, Alaska — North Pole is not Santa Claus’ real home. He actually lives very far north of that location in the real North Pole. The real North Pole has never had a United States Postal service to service the region. Santa commented: “It is important to note that the real North Pole does NOT BELONG to any country. It is shared by the entire world. The “ownership” of the North Pole has been a subject of dispute for many, many years. Why, in fact, there are sneaky companies out there selling pieces of the moon to people gullible folks and these companies’ founders and sales people are ALL on my “bad” list! There is only one Santa Claus, and there is only one real North Pole. It is a special place and the whole world should work together to keep it from thawing out. That is the most important job for everyone in 2009 and the future. The real North Pole NEVER stopped being accessible to the spirit of kids on Christmas, and there are numerous ways to get your letter and message to Santa! That why I have given everybody this free Santa Claus website since the beginning of the Internet! Don’t worry, I you have something to tell me, I will hear about it. And if I have something to tell you, you will hear from me. I employ the services of more people, elves and parents than the United States Postal Service can even imagine. And, by the way, I deliver presents AND letters to USPS employees and their families too. I have done so for years!”
Santa mentioned that he will be available to answer anyone’s concerns regarding Christmas Letters and letters to and From Santa Claus. Also, he reminds everyone that Santa Claus welcomes everyone, regardless of whether you celebrate Christmas or andy other holiday.
