Twas a week before Christmas
When I felt with good cause
Children would search everywhere
For a FREE Santa Claus!

One without credit cards to enter
Nor a payments to mail
In this hardest of years
With budgets so frail

Children and Families like
Alice, Jeffrey and Brett
Were out searching exactly
For Santa-DOT-net

On Google’s first page
On Thursday last week
The Googlebot tuned
And adjusted and tweaked

And when he was finished
On that very same day
He managed to make
Santa-DOT-net vanish away.

It was Thursday morning
With Christmas one week away
That the Googlebot Grinch
Glitched Santa away.

With a flurry of misguided
Zeros and ones
Google’s algorithm stole away
So much free Christmas fun

And there in position seven
Where Santa-DOT-net USED to be
The Googlebot put DOCTOR Nick
Not SAINT Nick you see!

If it’s a cat down in Georgia
You want Santa to spay
Let theĀ  Googlbot Grinch
And Google Maps show you the way!

But when people need doctors
For themselves… Or a pet…
Shouldn’t they should dial 9-1-1
For the help they should get?

But when kids do a search for “Santa”
It would seem a safe bet
They’re not looking for a doctor
Or an animal vet

Santa appreciates children
Who take care of their pets
And Santa likes doctors
And animal vets!

But when kids search for “Santa”
This time of the year…
They’re searching for Santa Claus
And they won’t find it — I fear.

Children and Families
Just like Mike and Jeanette
Are out searching in vain
For Santa-DOT-net

Created by Santa’s elves
For Children and FREE
Bringing Yuletide cheer
For all children to see

And Visit a reindeer
Or Color a tree
Till the Googlebot decided
It all wasn’t to be

There in position Seven
Where Santa-net USED to be
The Googlebot put DOCTOR Nick, the vet
Not SAINT Nick you see!

If it’s a cat down in Georgia
You want Santa to spay
Let the Googlbot Grinch
And Google Maps show the way!

If each person in the world
Who searched for Santa today
All drove to Georgia
On the very same day

With a cat in the back
Of the family car
Santa’s afraid non of them
Would get very far!

It would be like a bowl
Filled with water and paper
And a flush would bring gushes
From this ill-conceived caper!

This week we all want
To celebrate and sing
Thank goodness Santa.net
Is still there on Bing!

A true Santa website
That won’t sell all the junk
To parents and children
Had its Google rank sunk!

So if what you want to hear
Are sleigh bells that ring
The search engine for the season
Is not Google — It’s Bing.

Like Christmas Past knocking
From Nineteen eighty four
There’s a familiar digital
Voice at my door

The Google Grinch Googlebot
He’s Hal’s friend they say!

If it’s Joy you want Santa Claus to bring, your search engine this year better be Bing!

Tuesday, December 22nd, 2009

If it’s Joy you want this year for Santa to bring

Then your search engine choice had better be Bing!

Because the Google Grinch did a very sad thing

That gave a Google Santa Search a cold hearted ring.

The Grinch can’t understand kids 1 to 92

It’s shocking to see what is Googled to you

Things that can turn a child’s whitest Christmas dreams blue

And since it’s a BIG Grinch…

There’ not much we can do!

The Grinch there at Google made of Zeros and Ones

Forgot long ago, that Christmas is fun!

It’s not about greed, market share or control.

It’s the magic that moves you when the Christmas bells toll!

Christmas in the land of zeros and ones

Is not a Christmas filled with warm-hearted fun

Just a convoluted view of Christmas all wet

Not like the warm Santa Claus welcome on Santa.net!

Santa Claus wishes everyone a very, very Merry Christmas and a Happy Holiday. We at Santa.net hope ourĀ  investment of time dedicated to making Santa.net a positive experience for Children and Families around the world brings some joy to your holiday. Please understand that we do NOT make a profit on Santa.net. But we gain a wealth of happiness from the comments we receive from our happy visitors each year! Thank you for those rich rewards!

Help Santa Claus! The Grinch is Stealing Christmas!

Saturday, December 19th, 2009

Santa Claus thinks the Grinch Who Steals Christmas may have infiltrated Google! Can we still stop him in time?

Thank you World for making Santa.net the fastest growing Santa Claus website in the world! Three days ago Santa.net was number 7 on Google for a search for “Santa” in most places in the world. And that’s how you found Santa.net. And because YOU liked what you found, the content on Santa.net, YOU made it the But that was just a quirk of algorithm lottery of the Kingdom of Googledom:) And thank you Google… Our visitors come back and spend a lot of time on our website because they love us! But without Google, I am afraid they won’t ever find us! But the Grinch may have infiltrated Google? Through some technical Grinch Glitch of Google a couple of days ago, seemingly influenced by a server outage, Santa.net has disappeared from Google for a search for “Santa”! So all the effort by Santa to bring Children and Families this FREE and universal Santa Claus spirit has been foiled by a Technical Glitch Grinch who affected Google who our security cameras photographed below… If you see this Grinch, please tell him not to steal Santa Claus anymore!

3 month 0.00032 +620%

But this dude decided to remove Santa.net from the first page of Google:

Thank you Google, for bringing Santa Claus to the world… but now

The Grinch Who Stole Christmas has possibly infiltrated Google!

And when you do a search for “Santa” on Google, in the exact place where Santa.net used to be you will find an animal doctor spaying clinic when you are trying to communicate with Santa! We can only assume is is a Grinch trying to steal Christmas! With Christmas a few days away, kids around the world don’t want to talk to an visit animal doctor to get their pet neutered, they want to visit Santa Claus and the Reindeer.

Naughty or nice? Am I on the Naughty or Nice List?

Tuesday, December 15th, 2009

Lot’s of kids would like to know a simple answer to this: Am I on the naughty or nice list? Well you probably know better than anyone else!

But, please understand, everybody makes a few mistakes, and Santa Claus forgives kids who try hard. So do the best you can. And don’t measure whether you are good or bad by how many presents you get, measure it by what your heart tells you!

Are Santa’s Reindeer Boys or Girls? Male or Female?

Tuesday, December 15th, 2009

Since Santa Claus treats every living thing with equal respect, when Santa picks out reindeer, he doesn’t pay attention to their gender or sex. He is only concerned with their job-related qualities and character as role models for children. So if they are nice and kind, and if they are really strong fliers with big hearts that know how to get a tough job done on time, Santa Claus is happy to have them on the team!

There is some talk that only female reindeer have antlers, and that is generally true. But, in the case of reindeer empowered to fly at high speed in the dark, antlers have proven to be important for balance and safety… So, when the Reindeer get their magical flying powers on Christmas Eve, all of them have a full set of antlers to keep things running smoothly on the long journey.

There are many new and interesting Christmas Songs on Santa.net. And, one of them is called: “Picking Up Santa Claus” which tells the story of How Reindeer Fly from a Reindeer point of view:)

What Are Santa’s Reindeer’ Names? Question for Santa Claus

Tuesday, December 15th, 2009

Every year folks will ask

What are all the reindeer names?

There are some new reindeer I soon will show

But here are the regulars, you may or may not know:

In addition, we have many new reindeer who are great fliers and fill in on the long journey and give the other reindeer breaks… There are too many to mention all the names, but Anna, Mary, Mike and Max are four on what Santa calls “the new guys.”

The most recognized reindeer are

  • Dasher

  • Dancer

  • Prancer

  • Vixen

  • Comet

  • Cupid

  • Donner/Donder

  • Blitzen

  • Rudolph

How do Reindeer Fly? Questions for Santa Claus

Tuesday, December 15th, 2009

How do Reindeer Fly?

Everyone seems to ask:

How? How? How?

How else could they get to all those houses sooo fast on Christmas eve… Especially with all the traffic this time of year. Here are some theories:

  • The scent from cut Christmas trees triggers a biochemical response that empowers them to do super-reindeer tasks
  • Their sensitive ears and noses are alerted to the season by Christmas carols and Holiday music and Reindeer Songs.
  • When the weather gets cold, many animals grow warmer coats, The Magic of Flying Reindeer is a phenomenon that perhaps even the reindeer themselves don’t understand.
